No, your new passport will be issued with a completely unique number.


The validity of your new passport doesn’t have anything to do with how much validity was left on the passport you replaced. Your new passport will be valid for a full ten years from the date of issuance, or five years if you are a minor under age 16.


Sorry, but no. You’ll need to get a new photograph to submit with your application to replace your passport.
